The nine-year arc
The cycle tells a story: you plant in the 1, nurture in the 2, express in the 3, build in the 4, change in the 5, tend in the 6, reflect in the 7, harvest in the 8, and release in the 9 — before beginning again. Knowing where you are stops you forcing a harvest in a planting year, or starting something new in a year meant for letting go.

How do I calculate my Personal Year?
Add your birth month + birth day + the current year, then reduce to a single digit. For example, born 14 June, in 2026: 6 + 14 + 2026 → 6 + (1+4) + (2+0+2+6) = 6 + 5 + 10 → 6 + 5 + 1 = 12 → 3. That's a Personal Year 3.
When does the Personal Year change?
Most numerologists run it with the calendar year (resetting around 1 January), though some feel its influence build and fade around your birthday. We use the calendar-year method.
What's the difference between Personal Year and Life Path?
Your Life Path is fixed for life — who you are. Your Personal Year changes annually — the seasonal weather you're moving through. The same Life Path 7 will experience a Personal Year 1 very differently from a Personal Year 9.
